Albion Rovers have been part of life in Coatbridge since 1882, and Cliftonhill has been their home for more than a century. At TOFFS we recreate retro Albion Rovers shirts from the early 1960s, the moment the club changed its look. Our classic Albion Rovers kits are handcrafted in the UK from 100% cotton, with no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos.

Coatbridge roots

The club was formed in 1882 through the merger of two Coatbridge sides, Albion and Rovers. They played their first match at Cliftonhill on Christmas Day 1919, against St Mirren. A few months later the Wee Rovers reached the 1920 Scottish Cup Final, losing 3–2 to Kilmarnock. It remains the best cup run in the club’s history.

A brighter look for the 1960s

For decades Albion Rovers wore blue and white. In 1961 chairman Tam Fagin changed the colours to yellow, white and red to give the team a more distinctive look. Our Albion Rovers 1961-1964 Retro Football Shirt and Albion Rovers 1964-1965 Retro Football Shirt come from those first years in the new colours.
