Why orange?

Holland played their first international against Belgium in Antwerp in 1905. The orange comes from the House of Orange-Nassau, the Dutch royal family, and gives the team its nickname, Oranje.

Total Football

In 1974 Johan Cruyff led a side playing fluid Total Football to the World Cup final, where West Germany won 2–1 in Munich. Cruyff wore 14, and our Cruyff Classic- Holland 1974 World Cup Final Number 14 and Holland 1974 No. 14 Retro Football Shirt honour him. Four years later Holland lost another final, to hosts Argentina, as recalled by the Holland 1978 World Cup Home Retro Football Shirt.
