The Victorian cup kings

Rovers were founded in 1875 and quickly became one of the strongest sides in the country. They won the FA Cup three years running from 1884 to 1886, and again in 1890 and 1891. The club were founder members of the Football League in 1888 and have played at Ewood Park since 1890.

Wembley, 1960

In 1960 Rovers reached the FA Cup Final at Wembley, where they lost to Wolverhampton Wanderers. For that final the town’s crest was added to the shirts, a one-off touch for the big day. Our Blackburn 1960 FA Cup Final Retro Football Shirt recalls that run to the final.
