Red and black stripes have been the colours of Bohemian FC since the 1890s, and few shirts in Irish football are as recognisable. Our retro Bohemian shirts recreate classic Bohemian kits, handcrafted in the UK from 100% cotton with no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos.

Dublin’s Originals

Bohemians were founded on 6 September 1890 in Phoenix Park, Dublin, by members of Bell’s Academy, the Royal Hibernian Military School, medical students and others. They first played in white shirts with two red stripes before adopting red and black in 1894. Dalymount Park was officially opened on 7 September 1901.

League founders

Bohemians were founder members of the League of Ireland in 1921, and are one of only two clubs to have been members since its inception. After turning professional in 1969, the club won two league titles, two FAI Cups and two League Cups in the 1970s, more trophies than any other club that decade.
