White shirts and dark shorts have been the Bolton look for generations, worn through the club’s great FA Cup years. Our retro Bolton Wanderers shirts recall the days of Burnden Park and Wembley finals. Every classic Bolton Wanderers kit we make is handcrafted in the UK from 100% cotton, with no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos.

From Christ Church to Burnden Park

The club was founded in 1874 as Christ Church FC and took the name Bolton Wanderers in 1877. Bolton were founder members of the Football League in 1888. Burnden Park was home for more than a century, until the move to a new stadium in 1997.

The Wembley years

Bolton won the first FA Cup Final held at Wembley in 1923, beating West Ham United 2–0. They lifted the Cup again in 1926 and 1929. Our Bolton Wanderers 1930 Retro Football Shirt comes from the end of that golden decade.

In 1958 Nat Lofthouse scored both goals as Bolton won the FA Cup for a fourth time. Our Bolton 1958 FA Cup Final Retro Football Shirt celebrates that day at Wembley.
