Few clubs from behind the Iron Curtain have a cult following in Britain quite like Dukla Prague. Our retro Dukla Prague shirts recreate the classic Dukla Prague kits of the 1950s and 1960s, with no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos. Each is handcrafted in the UK from 100% cotton.

The army club

The club was founded in 1948 as ATK Praha, the Czechoslovak army sports club. In 1956 it took the name Dukla, in honour of those who fell at the Battle of the Dukla Pass in 1944. Dukla went on to win eleven Czechoslovak league titles. Our Dukla Prague 1957 Retro Football Shirt comes from those early years.

Masopust and New York

Seven Dukla players were in the Czechoslovakia squad that reached the 1962 World Cup final. Josef Masopust scored in that final and was named European Footballer of the Year. Between 1961 and 1964 Dukla also won the American Challenge Cup four times in New York. Our Dukla Prague 1960s shirt recalls that golden decade.

All I want for Christmas

In 1986 Half Man Half Biscuit released “All I Want for Christmas is a Dukla Prague Away Kit”, and the song became a cult favourite. Our Dukla Prague 1960s Away Shirt is the answer.
