The 1945 tour

Dynamo were founded in Moscow in 1923. In November 1945, just after the war, they toured Britain. They drew 3–3 with Chelsea in front of a huge crowd, beat Cardiff City 10–1, won 4–3 against Arsenal in thick fog, and drew 2–2 with Rangers. The tour made them famous across the country.

Yashin, the Black Spider

Lev Yashin spent his whole career at Dynamo. In 1963 he became the only goalkeeper to be named European Footballer of the Year. Our Dynamo Moscow 1960s Retro Football-Shirt comes from his era, and there’s a Dynamo Moscow 1960s Kids Retro Football Shirt too.
