Ecuador’s yellow, blue and red take their colours from the national flag, which is where the nickname La Tri comes from. Our retro Ecuador shirts recreate a classic Ecuador kit from the 1970s, with no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos. It’s handcrafted in the UK from 100% cotton.

Early years

Ecuador played their first internationals at the 1938 Bolivarian Games in Bogotá. For decades they played in the shadow of their South American neighbours, but the side built steadily. Our Ecuador 1974 Retro Football Shirt comes from that period.

World Cup breakthrough

Ecuador finally reached the World Cup in 2002. Four years later in Germany they went further, reaching the last 16 for the first time.
