A church team by the river

Fulham began in 1879 as Fulham St Andrew’s Church Sunday School FC, making them one of London’s oldest professional clubs. They played their first season at Craven Cottage in 1896, and the riverside ground has been home ever since. It gave the club its nickname, the Cottagers.

Between the wars

Our Fulham 1930s Retro Football Shirts take you back to the Cottage between the wars, with a simple design and no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos. Later decades brought Johnny Haynes, who in 1961 became the first footballer paid £100 a week, and a run to the FA Cup Final in 1975.
