Greece’s blue and white come from the national flag, and give the team its nickname, Galanolefki. Our retro Greece shirts recreate classic Greece kits from the 1960s and 1980s, with no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos. Each is handcrafted in the UK from 100% cotton.

Blue and white

Greece played their first official international in 1929, against Italy B. For decades the team wore blue shirts with white shorts at home, and white became the main home colour only after 2004. Lisbon, 2004

Greece reached their first World Cup in 1994. Ten years later they pulled off one of football’s great shocks, winning the European Championship in Portugal. Angelos Charisteas headed the only goal of the final against the hosts.

Greece won Euro 2004 in Portugal, beating the hosts 1–0 in the final with a header from Angelos Charisteas.
