Morton have played at Cappielow since 1879, just five years after the club was founded. At TOFFS we recreate retro Greenock Morton shirts from the turn of the 1970s, when the club was one of the most enterprising in the country. Our classic Greenock Morton kits are handcrafted in the UK from 100% cotton, with no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos.

Cup winners in 1922

The club was founded in 1874, and its traditional home kit is a blue and white shirt with white shorts. Morton’s greatest day came in 1922, when they beat Rangers 1–0 in the Scottish Cup Final. Jimmy Gourlay scored the winner direct from a free kick in the 11th minute.

The Hal Stewart years

Hal Stewart managed Morton through the 1960s and into the 1970s, the club’s most competitive modern period. In 1963–64 Allan McGraw scored 51 goals, and Morton reached the League Cup Final, losing to Rangers in front of 106,000 at Hampden. Our Greenock Morton 1969-1971 Retro Football Shirt comes from the later Stewart years.

More Scottish classics
