Sport Club Internacional of Porto Alegre wear red and white, and their fans are the Colorados. Our retro Internacional shirts are inspired by the classic Internacional kits of the club’s greatest decade. Every shirt is handcrafted in the UK from 100% cotton, with no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos. This is the Brazilian club, not to be confused with Italy’s Inter.

The Poppe brothers’ club

Internacional was founded on 4 April 1909 by three brothers, Henrique, José Eduardo and Luiz Madeira Poppe. Sixty years later, on 6 April 1969, the club opened the Beira-Rio with a 2–1 win over Benfica. Our Sport Club Internacional shirt carries the club’s red.

The 1970s Colorados

Internacional won the Campeonato Brasileiro in 1975, 1976 and 1979. The 1979 side went through the whole campaign unbeaten, the only club ever to win the title without losing a game. In 2006 they won the Copa Libertadores and beat Barcelona to win the Club World Cup, and a second Libertadores followed in 2010.

What is special about Internacional’s 1979 title?+

Internacional won the 1979 Campeonato Brasileiro without losing a match, the only club to win the Brazilian title unbeaten.

Why are Internacional fans called Colorados?+

Colorado refers to the club’s red. Internacional play in red and white, and both the team and its fans are known as Colorados.

What sizes do the Internacional shirts come in?+

Adult shirts come in sizes S to 5XL, and we make a kids’ range too. Check the size guide on each shirt for chest measurements.

Unpersonalised shirts can be returned within 14 days. Personalised shirts are made to order, so they can’t be returned unless faulty.
