Born of a split

Internazionale were founded on 9 March 1908 by members who broke away from Milan. They wanted a club open to foreign players, which is where the name comes from. Black and blue gave the team its nickname, the Nerazzurri. Our Inter Milan 1930s Retro Football Shirt and the Internazionale (Inter Milan) 1950’s Retro Football Shirt recall the early decades.

La Grande Inter

Under Helenio Herrera, Inter won the European Cup in 1964, beating Real Madrid in Vienna. They retained it in 1965 at their own San Siro, beating Benfica. Our Internazionale 1963-1964 Scudetto Retro Shirt and Inter Milan 1964-1965 Retro Football Shirt belong to that famous side.
