Middlesbrough have worn red since 1899, usually with white detailing. Our retro Middlesbrough shirts recreate classic Middlesbrough kits from the Ayresome Park years, handcrafted in the UK from 100% cotton with no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos.

Ayresome Park

Founded in 1876, Middlesbrough moved to Ayresome Park in 1903 and stayed for 92 years. Before the Second World War, Wilf Mannion and George Hardwick emerged as England internationals. Our Middlesbrough 1940s Retro Football Shirt recalls the post-war years.

Clough’s goals

In the 1950s a young Brian Clough scored 204 goals in 222 matches for Boro before moving to Sunderland. Our Middlesbrough 1950s Retro Football Shirt comes from his era, and there’s a kids’ version too.

Charlton’s champions

In 1973–74 Jack Charlton’s side won the Second Division with a then-record 65 points, 15 ahead of second-placed Luton Town. The Middlesbrough 1970s Retro Football Shirt and 1970s away shirt belong to that decade. Add the Middlesbrough Red Harrington Jacket, and explore our retro Championship shirts, kids’ range and casualwear.
