Partizan’s black and white is one of the most famous looks in Balkan football. Our retro Partizan Belgrade shirts recreate the classic Partizan kits of the 1960s, handcrafted in the UK from 100% cotton with no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos.

A gift that became a tradition

The club was founded in Belgrade in 1945 and named after the Yugoslav Partisans. In its early years it wore dark red, blue or white, and from 1952 red and blue stripes. In 1957, on a tour of South America, the team was given black and white shirts by Juventus. The players asked to keep them, and black and white have been Partizan’s colours ever since.

Brussels, 1966

In 1966 Partizan reached the European Cup final, the first club from Eastern Europe to do so. They led Real Madrid 1–0 at the Heysel Stadium through Velibor Vasović before losing 2–1. Our Partizan Belgrade 1960s Retro Football Shirt comes from that decade.

Yes. In 1966 they lost 2–1 to Real Madrid at the Heysel Stadium in Brussels after taking the lead.
