The Red and Whites

The club was founded in Belgrade in 1945 and quickly became one of the powers of Yugoslav football. Its red and white colours give it the nickname Crveno-beli, the Red and Whites, while fans simply call the club Zvezda, the Star.

Bari, 1991

Red Star’s greatest night came in May 1991, when they beat Marseille on penalties in Bari after a goalless draw to win the European Cup. Later that year they added the Intercontinental Cup in Tokyo. Our Red Star Belgrade 1960s Retro Football Shirt celebrates the club’s classic striped look.
