Jules Rimet’s club

Red Star was founded in a Paris café in 1897 by Jules Rimet and Ernest Weber. Rimet later became president of FIFA, and the original World Cup trophy was named after him. The club plays at the Stade Bauer in Saint-Ouen, just north of Paris.

Cup winners

Red Star won the Coupe de France three years running, in 1921, 1922 and 1923, and again in 1928 and 1942. The club first wore navy blue and white, and has played in green and white since 1934. Our Red Star Paris 1970 Retro Football Shirt carries those colours.
