Blue and white have been Sheffield Wednesday’s colours since the club’s earliest days. At TOFFS we recreate retro Sheffield Wednesday shirts from the 1930s to the early 1980s, including the Bukta era at Hillsborough. The Wednesday

The football club was formed on 4 September 1867 and has played in blue and white, traditionally in vertical stripes, since its founding. In 1899 Wednesday moved to Owlerton, home of the ground now called Hillsborough. The Owls nickname only took hold in 1912, when a player presented the club with an owl mascot. Wednesday were league champions in 1902–03, 1903–04, 1928–29 and 1929–30.

Cup days

Wednesday won the FA Cup in 1896, 1907 and 1935. Our Sheffield Wednesday 1935 FA Cup Winners Retro Football Shirt celebrates the third of those wins. In 1966 the club led Everton 2–0 in the final but lost 3–2, and our Sheffield Wednesday 1966 FA Cup Final Kids Football Shirt recalls that afternoon. In 1991 Wednesday won the League Cup as a second-tier side.
