Blågult

Sweden played their first international in July 1908, beating Norway 11–3 in Gothenburg. The team is known as Blågult, the Blue and Yellow. In 1948 Sweden won Olympic gold at Wembley, beating Yugoslavia 3–1 in the final, and at the 1950 World Cup in Brazil they finished third. Our Sweden 1950s Retro Football Shirt comes from that era.

Hosts in 1958

In 1958 Sweden hosted the World Cup and reached the final at the Råsunda Stadium. They lost 5–2 to a Brazil side featuring the teenage Pelé.
