With their green and yellow hoops and a slogan nobody forgot, the Tampa Bay Rowdies were one of the most colourful clubs of the NASL. Our retro Tampa Bay Rowdies shirts and classic Tampa Bay Rowdies kits span the club’s NASL years and the seasons that followed.

A kick in the grass

The Rowdies won Soccer Bowl in their very first season, beating the Portland Timbers 2–0 on 24 August 1975. Their marketing line, “The Rowdies are a kick in the grass!”, became part of the club’s identity. Home games were at Tampa Stadium, with indoor matches in St. Petersburg.

Life after the NASL

When the NASL ended in 1984 the Rowdies kept going, playing in indoor and outdoor leagues until the club folded in January 1994.
