The Toronto Falcons were among the first professional clubs of the modern era in North America, playing two seasons at Varsity Stadium. Our retro Toronto Falcons shirts and classic Toronto Falcons kits recall a short-lived side that wore blue and white.

1967 and 1968

The Falcons played in the National Professional Soccer League in 1967. When that league merged with the United Soccer Association, they joined the new North American Soccer League for 1968. Financial troubles followed, and the club folded after the 1968 season, one of many NASL sides to go that year.

Kubala in Toronto

The Falcons had a famous name in the dugout. László Kubala, one of the greatest strikers in FC Barcelona’s history, played for the club in 1967 and was head coach in 1968. His son Branko also played for the Falcons.
