Triestina come from Trieste, the port city at the north-eastern tip of Italy. Our retro Triestina shirts recreate the classic Triestina kits in red and white, handcrafted in the UK from 100% cotton with no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos.

The halberd

The club was founded in December 1918. Its nickname, Gli Alabardati, comes from the halberd, the symbol of the city of Trieste. Supporters also know the club as L’Unione.

Nereo Rocco’s Triestina

Triestina’s finest season came in 1947–48, when Trieste-born manager Nereo Rocco led the team to second place in Serie A, the club’s highest league finish. The club’s stadium now carries his name. Our Triestina Retro Football Shirt celebrates those red and white colours.
