Vålerenga are the club of east Oslo, with one of the most colourful histories in Norwegian football. Our retro Vålerenga shirts recreate the classic Vålerenga kits of the 1970s, handcrafted in the UK from 100% cotton with no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos.

Railway blue and red

The club was founded in July 1913 by teenage factory workers. It first played in moss green, but in 1914 it took on surplus blue and red kits from the Norwegian State Railways, and those became the club’s colours.

The Bohemians

In the 1960s the club’s flair players earned it the name the Bohemians, and Vålerenga won the Norwegian league for the first time in 1965. Further titles followed in 1981, 1983, 1984 and 2005. Our Valerenga 1970s Retro Football Shirt sits between those two eras.
