Old gold and black is one of English football’s most distinctive colour schemes, and it belongs to Wolves. Our retro Wolves shirts recall the great Molineux sides, above all Stan Cullis’s champions of the 1950s. Every classic Wolves kit we make is handcrafted in the UK from 100% cotton, with no modern sponsor or manufacturer logos.

Founder members

The club was founded in 1877 as St Luke’s and was one of the twelve founder members of the Football League in 1888. Molineux has been home since 1889. Wolves won the FA Cup in 1893 and again in 1908.

The Cullis years

Under Stan Cullis, Wolves won the league in 1954, 1958 and 1959, and the FA Cup in 1949 and 1960. In the 1950s Molineux also hosted famous floodlit friendlies against top European sides, including Honvéd in 1954. Look out for our Wolves Toffs Retro Home Shirt (L) (BNWT).
