Osvaldo (Ossie) César Ardiles (born 3 August 1952) and adored through out the world as a true ambassdor of The Beautiful game. This was recognised this year with Ossie receiving a World Sports Legend award in Monaco looking as always stylish and cultured! Ossie was and is a competitive and skilled midfielder and World Cup Winner with Argentina 1978. Aswell as a cult hero in England, along with Glenn Hoddle and compatriot Ricky Villa, as a player for Tottenham Hotspur in 1978 when he brought South American flair to the newly promoted Tottenham (Tottingham) Hotspur. His dream was to play at Wembley Stadium and win an FA Cup Final which he duly achieved in 1981 with a great Entertaining Tottenham Hotspur team.He also starred arguably in the best football movie ever made, the now classic, Escape To Victory in 1981. This shirt has been designed to replicate the ones worn in the movie, and is signed by the legend himself, Ossie Ardiles.
