In 1986 Ireland had a new kit and a new manager in what was a milestone year for the FAI. This shirt was worn in Jack Chalrton's first match as manager, and was worn by great players John Aldridge and Paul McGrath. In 1987 Ireland beat Brazil 1-0 wearing this shirt.
