The shirt
USA 1924 Vintage Rugby Shirt. After winning gold at the 1920 Summer Olympics, the United States successfully defended their crown in Paris, beating France 17–3 in the final. After the match rugby union was dropped from the Olympics amid crowd trouble, with one USA player knocked unconscious by a spectator's walking stick. So much for rugby being the gentleman's game.
