The United States hold a remarkable place in rugby history, having won Olympic gold in 1920 and 1924, the last Olympic tournaments for the 15-a-side game. Berkeley, 1912

The national team played its first international on 16 November 1912, against Australia in Berkeley, California. Eight years later the Americans won Olympic gold in Antwerp.

Paris, 1924

At the 1924 Olympics in Paris, the USA met hosts France in the final. Led by captain Colby ‘Babe’ Slater, they were 3–0 up at half-time and scored four tries in the second half to win 17–3. Our USA 1924 Vintage Rugby Shirt takes its name from that year.
