The shirt
Newport County, Orginaly formed as The Newport & Monmouth County Association Football Club in 1912. Newport have had one of the rockiest club history in Welsh football, having being promoted and relagated numerous times between the second and fourth divesions from 1912 and 1989. While Newport County are not the most succesfull team in Welsh football, they are one of the most persistent.
